Yummy Lolipop

#1 is eyeing #2's lolipop a little too close. It must have been pretty yummy!

Scissors

I could just read the question on his face, "What are these Daddy?" The local library has story time for smaller kids later in the week. We go and they do fun activities. Today, the kids made birthday party hats for Arthur's birthday.

Pooped!

He was so pooped at the end of the day. It wasn't even his bedtime yet!

Diving In

Needless to say, he REALLY liked the chocolate cake.

Yummy Birthday Cake

Liking the birthday cake.

Mommy and #2

Mommy and #2 during the present opening. What are we going to do with more toys?!

Lovin' The Trains

#1 and I went to a local smalltown train station. An Amtrak passenger train comes by twice a day and we were there for the morning run. He loved every minute of it!

#2 Swingin'

#2 swingin' at the park yesterday. The weather was next to perfect if not for the near gale force winds. Yes, it has been pretty windy these last few days. But, it is good to get out of the house considering the snow storm we just had a week and a half ago.

Neighbors Horses

Our neighbors acquired seven horses about a week ago. #1 loves to walk over there to feed 'em an apple. The horse just behind #1 is the only one that'll come up and let him touch his nose.

Home Depot Race Car

#1 and #2 racing the cart at Home Depot. It was such a nice afternoon so we packed up and shopped a little. Very little. We were having too much fun!

Rascal Hiding

Rascal found an empty spot on one of the kids' shelves. I just thought it was another stuffed animal until I did a double take and sure enough . . .

Hail Storm

It had been a little warmer than usual but Mother Nature decided to let us know that it was still winter. The storms that moved through the midwest overnight hit us pretty hard as well with hail and high winds (25 mph to gusts as high as 50 mph). Our front porch was covered with the freezing droplets as temperatures throughout March 1 fell well below freezing. We had to put our shorts and t-shirts back in the closets and don our winter coats once again.
